Is the acceptor/rejecter for campaign generated leads or opportunities resulting from calls–to-action that drive these to Inside Sales Assist Inside Marketing and Field Sales in opportunity management by providing demos, answering product specific questions, and cross selling/up selling with the goal of closing business
Perform consultative selling in a short term, transactional mode Execute targeted sales initiatives (up sell and cross-sell) primarily focused on specific, referenced targets within the installed base.
Handle call volume for inquiries / requests via the web, inbound phone queues, and for limited, specific, targeted outbound selling initiatives to support Total Customer Experience
Update CRM with customer intelligence
Execute product – specific, targeted direct sales initiatives to identify and acquire new potential customers
Manage short term and/or non complex transactional opportunities to closure
Perform opportunity transaction management and activity management via telephone, e-mail and web to ensure customer satisfaction and goal achievement
As necessary, leverage field resources, SAP internal resources, or channel partners to manage and close sophisticated or complex transactions
Execute ISE, Solution Specialist initiatives which support the success of the VBM On top of on-the job coaching as provided by ISM, the ISE should improve her/his sales skills along various dimensions (negotiation, communication, solution/industry expertise, competitive insight, etc.) as aligned and jointly prioritized with ISM
